On January 8, Niu Shunsheng, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference, visited the CPPCC Members’ Studio for Advanced Manufacturing and Innovative Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Huaihua) — hereinafter referred to as the “Members’ Studio” — to conduct a field inspection. On the morning of December 23, 2025, the signing and unveiling ceremony for the Academician Liu Liang Expert Workstation and the demonstration site of the “Academician Projects to the Grassroots—Thousand Counties, Ten Thousand Towns Initiative” was held at the Hélán County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Attending the event were Li Yanping, Deputy Director of the Academician Liu Liang Expert Workstation; He Zhiguo, Project Promotion Director; Ye Dan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Yinchuan Municipal Health Commission; Ma Hao, Deputy County Mayor of Hélán County; Xin Lihua, Director of the County Health Bureau, along with heads and key personnel from all member units of the Hélán County Medical and Health General Hospital. The meeting was chaired by Fan Wenhui, President of the Hélán County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

Attending the meeting were Group Chairman and President Wu Feichi; Vice Chairman Huang Yuming; Supervisory Board Chair and Union President Xiang Weiguo; Director and Rotating President Huang Bingxian; Director and Vice President Wu Tianhao, along with other members of the Group’s senior management team. Cadres from all levels across the Group’s eight major centers gathered both online and in person to discuss the path forward. The meeting was chaired by Rotating President Long Xianjun.

On December 5, the demonstration site for Academician Liu Liang’s Expert Workstation’s “Thousand Counties, Ten Thousand Towns” initiative was officially signed and unveiled at the Zhouqu County People’s Hospital, marking the successful introduction of the “Rheumatism and Pain Triple‑Sequential Therapy” as a high‑quality medical resource. This concrete measure benefiting the entire county enables residents of Zhouqu to access advanced rheumatology and pain‑management care conveniently at their doorstep, without having to travel far from home.

The establishment of this demonstration site represents a key step in thoroughly implementing the national strategy for the development of TCM and scientific and technological innovation, and in advancing the initiative to strengthen healthcare through talent and invigorate medicine through science and technology.
