On December 5, the demonstration site for Academician Liu Liang’s Expert Workstation’s “Thousand Counties, Ten Thousand Towns” initiative was officially signed and unveiled at the Zhouqu County People’s Hospital, marking the successful introduction of the “Rheumatism and Pain Triple‑Sequential Therapy” as a high‑quality medical resource. This concrete measure benefiting the entire county enables residents of Zhouqu to access advanced rheumatology and pain‑management care conveniently at their doorstep, without having to travel far from home.
At the event, the team from Academician Liu Liang’s Expert Workstation engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from medical and health institutions in Zhouqu County regarding the implementation of the project. The principal officials of Zhouqu County People’s Hospital provided a detailed overview of the hospital’s current specialty‑development status, as well as the progress in preparing and operating training bases and demonstration sites for the “Rheumatism and Pain Triple Sequential Therapy.” Relevant officials from the Expert Workstation presented an on‑site briefing on the nationwide rollout of the initiative. Both sides also jointly viewed a promotional video for the “Thousand Counties, Ten Thousand Towns” program to gain a better understanding of its value. Meanwhile, representatives of the Academician Expert Workstation signed a cooperation agreement with officials from the Health Commission to bring the academician‑led project down to the grassroots level, and the workstation’s responsible personnel entered into a demonstration‑site cooperation agreement with representatives of the local People’s Hospital.
