From June 11 to 13, 2026, the 24th Annual Academic Conference of the Rheumatic Diseases Professional Committee of the Chinese Association for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, together with the 9th International Summit Forum on the Triple‑Sequential Therapy for Rheumatism and Pain, was grandly held at the Qianhu Yingbin Hotel in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. Experts, scholars, and clinical physicians from across the country in the fields of rheumatology, pain management, orthopedics, and related disciplines gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on key topics such as cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for rheumatic and painful conditions, the clinical application of triple‑sequential therapy, and innovative developments in the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Participants shared academic achievements, exchanged practical experience, and contributed to the standardization and wider dissemination of advanced diagnostic and treatment methods for rheumatic and pain disorders. Nearly 400 experts and scholars attended the event in person, while more than 5,000 others joined online.

Recently, the group standard “Technical Operation Specifications for Traditional Chinese Medicine: Triple Sequential Therapy for Rheumatism and Pain in the Treatment of Senile Osteoarthritis” (T/GSGMA 001-2026), approved and initiated by the Gansu Provincial Society of Geriatric Medicine, has been officially released and put into simultaneous implementation, thereby filling a gap in the standardized diagnosis and treatment of senile osteoarthritis with respect to this triple sequential therapy for rheumatism and pain.

On May 26, the Sixth Session of the Seventh Congress of Trade Union Members of Zhengqing Group was held successfully. The meeting proceeded in strict accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Constitution of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, smoothly completing all agenda items. A new chairperson of the trade union committee was elected by by-election, and several important matters concerning the immediate interests of employees were reviewed and approved. Xiang Weiguo, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Zhengqing Group, presided over the meeting, which was attended by Qiu Qunying, Assistant to the Group President, Liu Jinxi, Vice Chairperson of the Trade Union, along with more than 30 employee representatives.

On May 28, the inaugural meeting of the Lean Manufacturing Academy at Zhengqing University was successfully held at the Group’s Huaihua headquarters. Grounded in the Group’s “Five‑One Project” talent strategy and aligned with the practical needs of the manufacturing center, the academy focuses on addressing gaps in frontline skills transfer and enhancing employee career development pathways, thereby supporting the capability building and succession planning of manufacturing talent. To this end, the academy has established three tiered training camps that precisely target core personnel across the entire manufacturing value chain. Among these, the “Quality Elite Training Camp” offers courses on pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, as well as management and operational training, emphasizing “strengthening compliance capabilities + standardizing inspection skills.” Meanwhile, the “Lean Production Training Camp” provides workshops on process procedures, along with management and operational protocol training, leveraging the manufacturing center’s hands‑on training facilities to implement an integrated “training‑as‑work, work‑as‑training” approach.

On the afternoon of May 24, the guidance meeting for the Academician Liu Liang Expert Workstation and the Hunan Provincial Innovation Center for Technological Advancements in Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Manufacturing Processes was successfully held in Huaihua. Academician Liu Liang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Distinguished Professor at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, and Director of the National Key Laboratory of TCM Syndromes, led an expert team to provide on-site guidance. Attendees included relevant officials from the Huaihua Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the High-tech Industrial Development Zone, and the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, as well as leaders and researchers from Hunan University of Chinese Medicine and the Zhengqing Group. The meeting was chaired by Wu Feichi, Director of the Academician Liu Liang Expert Workstation, Director of the Hunan Provincial Innovation Center for Technological Advancements in Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Manufacturing Processes, and Chairman and President of the Zhengqing Group.

On May 23, the National Promotion Conference for the National Key R&D Program was solemnly held in Hanshou, Hunan Province, bringing together leaders from the Hanshou County Government and the health commission, heads of research institutions and universities, as well as experts from nearly two hundred medical institutions. The conference comprehensively outlined the implementation plan for building county-level specialized centers for rheumatic and pain-related conditions under the National Key R&D Program, marking the entry of the “Thousand Counties, Ten Thousand Towns” initiative into a new phase of large-scale nationwide rollout.
