To comprehensively fortify the quality‑assurance framework for pharmaceutical production, further upgrade the training system of the manufacturing operations, and strengthen all employees’ GMP compliance awareness and their ability to adhere to job‑specific standards, Zhengqing Group successfully conducted its 2026 annual Level‑1 GMP training for the entire manufacturing workforce from August 31 to September 2 in the first‑floor conference room of the Entrepreneurship Service Building in Huaihua High‑Tech Zone. All personnel from the Manufacturing Center and the Process Research Institute participated throughout the program.

This training session commenced with a formal opening ceremony, during which company leaders delivered an inaugural address, emphasizing that quality is the lifeblood of pharmaceutical enterprises. They urged all participants to approach the training with dedication, reflect on its lessons in light of their respective roles, and seamlessly integrate GMP requirements into every aspect of their daily work—thereby addressing existing gaps, enhancing capabilities, and promoting compliance with regulatory standards.

PART 01

Comprehensively upgraded and refined, establishing a high-standard training paradigm.

This training program, anchored in the core objective of “upgrading and enhancing quality,” has undergone comprehensive optimization—covering facility support, operational models and mechanisms, and content quality—to drive GMP training toward a focus on “practical empowerment.”

▲ Enhanced Venue Experience: Training Upgrades Begin with the Experience

Group leadership places great emphasis on investing in talent development, firmly committing to “directing training resources squarely toward our employees.” Through dedicated coordination, they have upgraded training facilities and optimized the learning environment, providing robust infrastructure to underpin and elevate the quality of training—thus underscoring the company’s clear commitment to fostering employee growth.

▲Organizational Mechanism Upgrade: Classrooms Transformed into “Competitive Arenas,” Leveraging Competitions to Foster Learning and Strengthen Team Cohesion

Innovatively introducing a group‑based, head‑to‑head competition system, all trainees are randomly assigned to ten mixed teams. Each team is structured with a three‑tier management framework—team leader, discipline officer, and study officer—and integrates attendance, classroom participation, and exam performance into a points‑based evaluation. Learning is no longer an individual endeavor but a collective achievement for the entire group; the classroom has shifted from one‑way “listening” to two‑way “interaction.” By moving from passive reception to active engagement, and from individual study to team‑based competition, this approach effectively energizes intrinsic motivation among all participants, fostering a vibrant learning environment characterized by healthy rivalry, mutual support, and coordinated effort.

▲ Enhanced Content Quality: Reimagined to Address Pain Points, with Courses Refined to High Standards

This training program is closely aligned with regulatory requirements and the company’s operational realities, covering key modules such as the Drug Administration Law and its implementing regulations, GMP and industry oversight, change control and deviation management, microbiological and personnel hygiene in pharmaceutical manufacturing, production management, GMP‑compliant process validation, material management, and equipment GMP compliance.

This training program sets rigorous standards for the instructor team: all courses have been meticulously refined to address recurring GMP inspection findings and real‑world workplace risks, incorporating numerous authentic case studies and featuring interactive sessions paired with a dedicated question bank. The instruction must be far from rote lecturing and avoid being dry or monotonous. All instructors are senior management and technical leaders within the company; despite their demanding day jobs, they have devoted their spare time to iteratively update course materials and refine the instructional design. Delivering the entire session while standing, they have maintained unwavering enthusiasm, ensuring both the quality of delivery and the depth of content.

▲ Enhanced Training Outcomes: Integrated learning, assessment, and practice for immediate comprehension and reinforced retention.

We’ve established a comprehensive closed-loop system of “lecture + exam + post‑exam review.” At the end of each session, an online, proctored quiz is administered immediately, followed by an on-the-spot review and explanation of frequently missed questions by the instructor, ensuring instant reinforcement of key concepts. This approach truly enables learners to “study one lesson, take one quiz, and master one lesson.”

Engage in collaborative learning and showcase a new image of the production workforce.

Over the two-day course, whenever the instructor posed interactive questions, participants from each group eagerly vied to respond, creating a lively yet well-organized atmosphere. This spirit of eager engagement permeated the entire training. The trainees’ proactive participation and enthusiastic interaction emerged as the most tangible outcome of the program. Many instructors noted that, compared with previous years, this year’s sessions were far more engaging, with high levels of learner cooperation and meaningful, substantive interactions.

Stringent assessment and a robust closed-loop system ensure long-term, sustainable implementation.

This training program employs a dual-track assessment system—“in-class assessments plus a final comprehensive exam.” Upon completion of all courses, a unified, closed-book, comprehensive examination will be administered. Assessment results will be linked to annual performance evaluations, ensuring rigorous evaluation that drives genuine learning and guarantees the effective implementation of the training. Meanwhile, on-site management measures, such as mandatory sign-in attendance and centralized mobile phone storage, are strictly enforced to uphold high‑quality standards throughout the program.

In her closing remarks at the training, Yin Songmao, Special Assistant to the Group President, emphasized that the session was closely aligned with the entire production‑quality process and directly addressed real‑world risks at each job role, thereby further harmonizing all employees’ understanding of compliance, standards, and risk management. She urged all staff to apply what they had learned, translating GMP principles into everyday practices and embedding a compliance‑oriented mindset in every step of their work. She called for strict adherence to applicable regulations, manufacturing processes, and operating procedures, ensuring that all operations are grounded in evidence, processes are rigorously controlled, deviations are promptly addressed, and issues are systematically resolved through closed‑loop management. By steadfastly upholding quality red lines, tightly managing compliance risks, and continuously refining and improving systems, the company will fortify its GMP‑based quality management framework and safeguard the very foundation of pharmaceutical product quality.

This company-wide GMP Level‑1 training marks both the inaugural step in our tiered, category‑specific GMP training framework and a critical milestone in upgrading the competencies of our production and manufacturing workforce. Moving forward, we will steadily advance specialized GMP Level‑2 and Level‑3 trainings, ensuring that compliance requirements are seamlessly integrated into every role and every operational procedure. We will continue to refine our dual‑pillar approach of talent development and quality management, leveraging enhanced personnel capabilities to drive the modernization of our production systems, thereby establishing a robust talent foundation and a strong quality safeguard for the company’s high‑quality growth.
