From November 21 to 23, 2025, the Inaugural Meeting of the Rheumatology Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and the 2025 Academic Annual Conference were grandly held at the Kyoto Xinyuan Hotel in Beijing. Centered around the theme of “Inheriting and Innovating, Promoting Sino-Western Collaboration,” this conference brought together top rheumatology experts, scholars, and industry leaders from numerous countries and regions. On the morning of November 14, the signing and unveiling ceremony for the demonstration site of the Rheumatology and Pain Triple-Sequential Therapy Thousand-County, Ten-Thousand-Village Initiative was solemnly held at the Lankao County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. More than 100 people attended the event, including staff members from Academician Liu Liang’s Expert Workstation, Kong DeCi, a second-level researcher with the county government; Kong Dezhi, deputy director of the county Health Commission; and the leadership team and medical staff representatives from the county hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.

On October 30, the unveiling ceremony for the demonstration site of the “Thousand Counties, Ten Thousand Villages Plan”—a three-step sequential therapy for rheumatology and pain management led by the Academician Liu Liang Expert Workstation—was solemnly held at the Second Branch Hospital (Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital) of Yuanshi County General Hospital. Attending the ceremony were Li Yanping, Deputy Director of the Academician Liu Liang Expert Workstation; He Zhiguo, Project Promotion Director; Qu Xiaoyan, Deputy Director of the Yuanshi County Health and Health Bureau; Zhang Ziw ei, Wang Jingguang, and Jia Jianlun, Vice Presidents of the County General Hospital; as well as over 100 participants, including heads and key physicians from 15 township health centers and medical staff from the Second Branch Hospital.
