On July 22, a symposium on the Southern Traditional Chinese Medicine Valley project was held in the third-floor conference room of Zhengqing Group. The meeting was chaired by Liang Zhiping, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee and First-Class Researcher. Leaders from municipal departments—including the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal Justice Bureau, the Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau, and the Municipal Health Commission—attended the session. Wu Feichi, Chairman of Zhengqing Group, along with the company’s senior management team, also participated. Both sides engaged in an in-depth exchange centered on the project’s development, focusing on further strengthening government–enterprise communication and collaboration and coordinating solutions to practical challenges encountered during project implementation.
At the meeting, a responsible representative from Zhengqing Group presented the company’s current achievements in scientific and technological innovation and its development plans, focusing on key initiatives such as the practical application of a specialized large-scale model for traditional Chinese medicine and the establishment of an innovation center. The presentation provided a detailed update on project progress and highlighted the issues that urgently require coordination and resolution.
During the Q&A session, leaders from municipal departments, drawing on their respective functions and responsibilities, shared their views on supporting enterprise innovation and platform upgrades, offering a series of targeted and constructive recommendations. The on-site dialogue was pragmatic and highly efficient.
Wu Feichi expressed his gratitude for the meticulous guidance and support provided by departments at all levels. He stated that this conference has established a high‑quality platform for government–enterprise communication for Zhengqing, and that the company will earnestly implement the spirit of the meeting, continue to deepen its efforts in the research and development of new traditional Chinese medicine products and in leveraging digital and intelligent technologies, and work with full commitment to ensure the high‑quality, efficient implementation of the Southern Traditional Chinese Medicine Valley project.
After hearing remarks from all parties, Deputy Secretary-General Liang Zhiping delivered a concluding address. He commended Zhengqing Group for its achievements in scientific research and innovation in traditional Chinese medicine, urging the company to seize the strategic opportunity presented by artificial intelligence to empower the TCM industry and accelerate the implementation of key projects such as the Southern TCM Valley. At the same time, he called on all relevant departments to align precisely with the needs of enterprises, provide practical support in addressing challenges, and ensure the high‑quality development of the Southern TCM Valley project.
