On February 28, the city held a grand conference to promote the robust development of the private sector and advance the “Year of Enterprise Services” initiative. At the event, Hunan Zhengqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. was publicly commended as one of Huaihua City’s “Top Ten Tax‑Paying Enterprises.” Wu Feichi, Chairman and President of Zhengqing Group, was invited to deliver a keynote address on behalf of the city’s “Top Ten Tax‑Paying Enterprises,” key enterprises in the traditional Chinese medicine industry chain, and outstanding private entrepreneurs across the province who received the New Hunan Contribution Award, sharing his company’s experience and practical achievements.
Wu Feichi stated that this honor belongs to all members of the Zhengqing Group and to practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine. The provincial Party committee and provincial government’s emphasis on the private sector, coupled with the municipal Party committee and municipal government’s strong support for Huaihua’s TCM industry, have greatly bolstered the company’s confidence in its development. He acknowledged that, having been rooted in Huaihua for more than three decades, the Zhengqing Group has consistently remained committed to its core TCM business and upheld tax compliance; this dual recognition is a testament to, and an encouragement from, governments at all levels.
Going forward, Zhengqing Group will leverage research platforms such as the Academician Liu Liang Expert Workstation, the Hunan Provincial Innovation Center for Modern Chinese Medicine Manufacturing Process Technology, and the Guangdong Provincial Laboratory to advance new‑drug development, deepen its integration into the traditional Chinese medicine industry chain, and fulfill its social responsibilities. By driving high‑quality corporate growth, the Group will support the local economy and contribute its expertise to building a regional central city at the intersection of five provinces.
