Under the careful organization and coordinated guidance of the Provincial and Municipal Medical Insurance Bureaus, Xiang Weiguo, Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Chairman of the Trade Union of Zhengqing Group, led a team to Dashu’ao Village, Zhijiang Dong Autonomous County, to carry out a volunteer service activity called “Bringing Medical Care and Medicines to Rural Areas,” aimed at benefiting the local people. The activity focuses on the health needs of grassroots communities, delivering high-quality health services and heartfelt care directly to people’s doorsteps through diverse approaches such as free medicine distribution, free medical consultations, and public education on medical insurance. This initiative effectively supports rural revitalization efforts and enhances the level of medical and health security for local residents.

PART1

Free medicine warms people's hearts.

In this “Bringing Medical Care and Medicines to Rural Areas” public welfare initiative, Zhengqing Group has donated commonly used medicines worth over 53,000 yuan in total to Dashu’ao Village. The donated medicines cover the company’s core product lines, including Zhengqing Fengtongning Sustained-Release Tablets (which can be freely collected with a doctor’s prescription after on-site diagnosis and meeting the eligibility criteria), the Zhengqing Qingre Jiedu Series, and the Zhengqing Lingzhi Series—three major product categories that precisely address the common health needs of rural residents, such as joint pain, wind-heat colds, and immune system regulation. These donations provide tangible pharmaceutical support for villagers’ daily health protection and relief from mild illnesses.

Free Clinic for the “Three-Step Sequential Therapy for Rheumatic Pain”

At the specially set-up Pain Clinic at the Dashu’ao Village Health Center, the volunteer medical team is using Zhengqing Group’s “Three-Step Sequential Therapy for Rheumatic and Pain Conditions” to provide on-site treatment for villagers suffering from rheumatic pain disorders, precisely relieving their pain and discomfort. At the same time, accompanying donations of symptomatic medications such as Zhengqing Fengtongning Sustained-Release Tablets are available. Villagers who meet the medication criteria can register at the village health center and then, upon presentation of a doctor’s prescription, receive these medications free of charge—thus achieving a one-stop health care solution that combines on-site diagnosis and treatment with follow-up medication.

The "Three-Step Sequential Therapy for Rheumatism and Pain" developed by Zhengqing Group is a Chinese medicine technology promotion project and a clinical initiative under the "Academician Goes to the Grassroots" program of Academician Liu Liang's expert workstation. This therapy was awarded the Second Prize of the Hunan Province Science and Technology Progress Award in 2015 and has been listed as an appropriate health technology promotion project in multiple provinces. It boasts advantages such as both internal and external treatment, rapid onset of action, stable efficacy, minimal adverse reactions, and simple, cost-effective operation—making it highly compatible with the needs of primary healthcare settings.

This “Bringing Medical Care and Medicines to Rural Areas” public welfare initiative has brought health and well-being to the residents of Dashu’ao Village through professional medical services, practical free medication, and innovative therapies, earning widespread acclaim and injecting healthy momentum into rural revitalization. Moving forward, Zhengqing Group will continue to respond actively to the government’s call, earnestly fulfill its corporate social responsibility, and leverage the research strengths of Academician Liu Liang’s workstation as well as its robust capabilities across the entire traditional Chinese medicine industry chain to deepen its commitment to grassroots health services.
