On November 5, 2025, the grand unveiling ceremony and signing event for the "National Training Center of the Triple Sequential Therapy for Rheumatology and Pain," established under the Liu Liang Academician Expert Workstation, was held solemnly in the sixth-floor conference room of Nanyang Medical College Affiliated Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. Attendees included staff from the Liu Liang Academician Expert Workstation, the medical and nursing team from Nanyang Medical College Affiliated TCM Hospital, trainees from across the country participating in the training program, as well as representatives from several leading medical institutions in the Nanyang region—all coming together to mark this significant milestone in advancing rheumatology and pain treatment techniques, ultimately benefiting patients at the grassroots level.

 

 

This ceremony was hosted by Peng Xiaosong, Vice President of the Affiliated Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital of Nanyang Medical College. Li Yanping The professor attended the meeting alongside Dr. Shi Pei, President of the Affiliated Central Hospital of Nanyang Medical College, and together they unveiled the "Comprehensive Training Center for the Triple Sequential Therapy in Rheumatology and Pain Management" at the Academician Liu Liang Expert Workstation, also signing the cooperation agreement.
 

At the meeting, Professor Li Yanping detailed the innovative technological value of Academician Liu Liang's expert workstation in the "Triad Sequential Therapy for Rheumatism and Pain," providing a more efficient and safer approach for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
 

At the meeting, Dean Shi Pei delivered a speech, sharing the hospital's future plans and development aspirations for the training base. He emphasized that the hospital will fully leverage the platform advantages of a national-level Grade III Class A Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital, relying on the technical support provided by Academician Liu Liang's expert workstation to establish a comprehensive training model featuring "theoretical lectures + hands-on practice + case discussions." This approach aims to precisely extend the "Rheumatism and Pain Triple Sequential Therapy" down to the grassroots level, cultivating more technically proficient and clinically skilled professionals nationwide, thereby effectively enhancing primary care facilities' capacity to deliver high-quality diagnosis and treatment services for rheumatic and pain-related conditions.


Following this, during the "Academic Exchange and Training" session, the hospital's expert team delved into the technical details, clinical cases, and practical tips of the "Rheumatology and Pain Triple Sequential Therapy," offering participants from across the country an immersive and highly professional experience.


 

Since the promotion of the "Rheumatism and Pain Triple Sequential Therapy," national training centers have been established in multiple locations, including Xuyi, Changsha, and Xiangxiang. The establishment of the training base at Nanyang Medical College Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine marks a significant milestone in advancing this innovative therapy—and serves as a vibrant example of translating traditional Chinese medicine research into practical clinical applications. Moving forward, Academician Liu Liang’s expert workstation will remain steadfast in its commitment to scientific innovation while continuing to deepen its efforts in clinical outreach, empowering more grassroots healthcare professionals with high-quality TCM techniques, and ensuring that the unique charm and profound clinical value of TCM benefit even wider communities.
