From October 9 to 11, the Hunan Provincial Drug Administration hosted the 2025 Hunan Province Pharmaceutical GMP Inspector Core Training Workshop at Zhengqing Group. Bai Yu, Deputy Director (in charge of daily operations) of the Inspection Division of the Hunan Provincial Drug Administration, delivered a speech. Li Xun, Deputy Director of the Inspection Division, attended the training to provide integrity and anti-corruption education. Wu Feichi, Chairman and President of Zhengqing Group, gave a welcoming address. A total of 40 core pharmaceutical GMP inspectors from the provincial bureau’s headquarters and its affiliated units, as well as market supervision administrations and drug testing institutions across various cities and prefectures, participated in the workshop.
Bai Yu pointed out in his speech that GMP inspectors for pharmaceuticals must fully recognize the importance and necessity of this training, wholeheartedly immerse themselves in the learning process, strive to apply what they’ve learned effectively, integrate their insights into daily management and inspection tasks, and ensure that the outcomes of their studies translate directly into practical, impactful performance.
Li Xun, during the launch of the integrity and anti-corruption education training, emphasized that GMP inspectors for pharmaceuticals must further elevate their political awareness, accurately grasp the new situation, new tasks, and new requirements of current drug safety oversight, and earnestly strengthen their sense of responsibility and mission in carrying out pharmaceutical inspections. He also urged them to continuously enhance their capabilities and professional standards in this new era. At the same time, inspectors must firmly tighten the "integrity screw" in their minds—maintaining a deep sense of reverence, staying clearly aware of potential pitfalls, and strictly upholding the bottom line of廉洁 (integrity). Only then can they fulfill their duties with fairness and professionalism.
In his speech, Wu Feichi stated that since 2022, when Zhengqing Group became the practical training base for pharmaceutical GMP inspectors, it has successfully hosted several provincial-level core training courses for GMP inspectors. This year, the 2025 Provincial-Level Core Training Program for Pharmaceutical GMP Inspectors is once again being held at the Zhengqing Training Base, which not only reflects the full trust placed in Zhengqing but also provides a rare learning opportunity for all managers within the group’s production and quality system. He emphasized that Zhengqing Group will continue to rigorously adhere to GMP standards and relevant pharmaceutical policies and regulations, striving wholeheartedly to build Qingfengteng’s “science, agriculture, industry, trade, and healthcare” integrated industrial chain—and contributing its rightful share to driving the high-quality development of Hunan Province’s traditional Chinese medicine industry.
