On June 27th, the first presidium meeting of the Huaihua Enterprise Association for Science and Technology in 2025 was successfully held at Zhengqing Group. Lin Qijun, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and Yang Yue, Minister of the Society Department of the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, attended the meeting. Wu Feichi, Chairman of the Municipal Enterprise Association for Science and Technology and Chairman & President of Zhengqing Group, presided over the meeting.

Conveying and studying the spirit of relevant meetings of the China Association for Science and Technology
At the meeting, the spirit of important conferences, including the 9th Session of the 10th National Committee of the China Association for Science and Technology, the 6th Plenary Session of the 11th Committee of the Hunan Provincial Association for Science and Technology, and the 9th Plenary Session of the 6th Huaihua Municipal Party Committee, was first conveyed and studied. Through in-depth study and comprehension of the meeting spirit, the participating representatives accurately grasped the new trends in technological development and the new requirements of policy guidance, clarifying implementation paths and work directions for coordinating the advancement of scientific and technological innovation practices and empowering the high-quality development of the local economy and society.

Introduction to Hunan Provincial Modern Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Process Technology Innovation Center
Zhu Yongbo, Secretary-General of the Municipal Enterprise Association for Science and Technology, delivered a special report on the construction of the 'Hunan Provincial Modern Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Process Technology Innovation Center'.
The Hunan Provincial Modern Chinese Medicine Pharmaceutical Process Technology Innovation Center is a provincial-level technology innovation platform initiated by the Huaihua Municipal People's Government, with Academician Liu Liang serving as the Chairman of the Academic Committee. It was jointly established by Zhengqing Group, provincial universities, research institutes, and leading enterprises. This center is the only technology innovation center in the field of traditional Chinese medicine in Hunan Province.

Summary of Huaihua Enterprise Association for Science and Technology's 2024 Work and 2025 Plan
The Secretariat delivered a special report on the 'Huaihua Enterprise Association for Science and Technology's 2024 Work Summary and 2025 Work Plan'. In 2024, the Municipal Enterprise Association for Science and Technology achieved certain results. In the next stage, the Municipal Enterprise Association for Science and Technology will focus on expanding its influence, organizing thematic exchange salons, and carrying out popular science promotion activities. With a more open attitude and pragmatic actions, it will continuously promote scientific and technological innovation, deepen cooperation and exchanges, and contribute to the transformation, upgrading, and sustainable development of association members.

Discussions and Exchanges
Participants engaged in discussions on the development of the Municipal Enterprise Association for Science and Technology, and the direction, areas, and content of key tasks and projects for the next year, building consensus and forming synergy to promote work progress.
Wu Feichi stated that the Municipal Enterprise Association for Science and Technology should closely adhere to the central work of the Municipal Party Committee and Government, implement the spirit of meetings at all levels, take technological innovation as the core entry point, and systematically promote the integrated development of industry, academia, and research, build innovation exchange platforms, and deepen popular science empowerment initiatives. He emphasized the need to fully gather the wisdom and strength of scientific and technological workers to inject strong momentum into the construction of Huaihua's modern industrial system and promote the high-quality leapfrog development of the enterprise association for science and technology's work.
Lin Qijun first affirmed the achievements of the Municipal Enterprise Association for Science and Technology in enterprise innovation in 2024. He emphasized that in 2025, the Municipal Enterprise Association for Science and Technology should further enhance its political stance and strengthen ideological guidance; focus on its primary responsibilities, serve enterprise innovation and development, promote the growth of enterprise scientific and technological talents, and improve scientific literacy; and improve the organizational system to enhance service efficiency.
