From August 16-18, the "2024 Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry and Cultural Tourism & Health Care Innovative Integrated Development Conference," hosted by the Chenzhou Municipal People's Government and the Xianggan-Yue-Hong Kong-Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Whole Industry Chain Collaborative Development Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the Alliance), was grandly held in Guidong County, known as "China's Oxygen Capital." Zhengqing Fengtongning and new discoveries in traditional Chinese medicine treatment of kidney diseases

In the context of the increasingly severe global health situation of diabetes and its serious complication—diabetic kidney disease (DKD), a recent study published in the "Journal of Ethnopharmacology" by Academician Chen Xiangmei's team from the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital on the potential mechanisms of traditional Chinese medicine in treating DKD inflammation undoubtedly brings new hope to this field. The research by Academician Chen Xiangmei's team revealed that traditional Chinese medicine effectively alleviates inflammatory responses in DKD by regulating multiple key signaling pathways (such as Toll-like receptors, NLRP3 inflammasome, etc.), providing new theoretical basis and experimental support for the treatment of DKD.
