On the morning of May 7, the "Zhengqing Fentongning Innovative Drug R&D Project Seminar and Zhengqing Group Liu Liang Academician Workstation Research Work Meeting" was held at Zhengqing Group. Liu Liang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Professor Zhou Hua from Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Researchers Xie Ying and Pan Hudan from Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Dr. Wu Feichi, Chairman and President of Zhengqing Group; Huang Yuming, Vice Chairman; Xiang Weiguo, Rotating President; and Qiu Ping, Chief Engineer, attended the meeting. Zhang Mei, Secretary of the Party Group of Huaihua Municipal Association for Science and Technology, was invited to attend, and the heads of each innovative drug R&D project reported on their research progress.

On the afternoon of May 6, Huaihua City convened a symposium on the establishment of a pilot zone for the comprehensive reform and demonstration area of traditional Chinese medicine and the development of the traditional Chinese medicine material industry. Liu Liang, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chief Scientist of Zhengqing Group; Li Chunqiu, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; and Lyu Yubo, Honorary President of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, attended and delivered speeches. Municipal leaders Xiang Xiuliang and Xiang Ming, along with Li Shizhong, Secretary-General of the Municipal Government, and the heads of the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Municipal Health Commission, Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Municipal Medical Security Bureau, Municipal Government Research Office, Municipal Association for Science and Technology, Municipal Government Supervision Office, and Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Material Office participated. Key executives from Zhengqing Group, BoshiKang Group, Zhenghao Pharmaceutical, and Butian Pharmaceutical were also in attendance. Dr. Wu Feichi, Chairman and President of Zhengqing Group, delivered a report titled 'Leveraging ISO International Standards to Build a World-Class Traditional Chinese Medicine Industrial Chain.' Professor Zhou Hua, a researcher at the Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, gave a special lecture on ISO international standards.

On April 25, the Huaihua Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League issued the document "Decision of the Huaihua Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League on Commending the 2021 'Huaihua Municipal May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee', 'Huaihua Municipal May Fourth Red Flag Youth League (General) Branch', 'Huaihua Municipal Excellent Communist Youth League Member', and 'Huaihua Municipal Excellent Communist Youth League Cadre'" (Huituanfa [2022] No. 4). The Youth League Committee of Hunan Zhengqing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Zhengqing Youth League Committee) was awarded the 2021 "Huaihua Municipal May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee" title. This is an honor granted by the Huaihua Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League to grassroots Youth League organizations, and is an important vehicle for promoting the in-depth and grassroots extension of the Communist Youth League reform.
