Opening Remarks: Embarking on a New Journey
The conference began with opening remarks by distinguished guests. Following the opening ceremony, several experts delivered insightful reports. Academician Liu Liang presented a report on "Research Paradigm of Compound Traditional Chinese Medicine Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory and Clinical Practice." He pointed out that traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes holism and syndrome differentiation, each with its own advantages compared to the microscopic research of modern medicine. The integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine aligns with the future trend of medicine shifting towards disease prevention, collaborative medicine, and holistic medicine. Addressing the challenges facing traditional Chinese medicine technology, he proposed establishing a new research paradigm starting with syndrome diagnosis and compound treatment. He believes that digitalization will lead the development of traditional Chinese medicine, and that traditional Chinese medicine syndrome belongs to disease classification, requiring the construction of syndrome treatment pharmacology. His team also found that inflammatory factors in rheumatoid arthritis patients are high in the early morning, and the effect of drug administration at different times is different, providing a basis for treatment according to time. In addition, he introduced the TCM vertical large model, and the intelligent outpatient clinic it built has achieved a breakthrough in intelligent diagnosis and treatment management, helping to improve primary medical care.

Drawing the Blueprint Together, Painting a Grand Vision Together
Shared ideals converge into a driving force for progress. Dr. Wu Feichi, Chairman of Zhengqing Group, reviewed the Group's deep cultivation in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in his address. He mentioned the comprehensive industry chain (scientific research, agriculture, industry, trade, medicine) built upon Academician Liu Liang's workstation, as well as the achievements of Zhengqing Fengtongning series products, which include "one world's first and six national firsts." Today, Zhengqing Group is led by its "Pain-Free World" strategy, deploying through the "Thousand Counties and Ten Thousand Townships Program" in county and township medical institutions nationwide, and, with the support of Academician Liu Liang's Hengqin Large Model, is fully committed to building a global system for the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatism and pain.
Academician Liu Liang began by addressing pain points in grassroots healthcare, emphasizing that international surveys show over one-third of adults suffer from rheumatic and joint diseases. In China, there are at least 300 million such patients, mostly at the grassroots level. He stressed the importance of rheumatism and pain diagnosis and treatment in benefiting these 300 million patients. He highly praised the innovative model of the International Rheumatism and Pain Physician Group in Hanshou County, which extended the triple sequential therapy for rheumatism and pain from the County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine to township hospitals. He believes this model of county-level medical community building holds significant demonstrative value, providing a feasible path to achieve the goals of the "Thousand Counties and Ten Thousand Townships Program." Academician Liu Liang also envisioned that combining the "Thousand Counties and Ten Thousand Townships Program" with the "Three Preventives" (prevention before illness, prevention of disease progression, and post-illness protection) theory will lead to a win-win future for patients receiving treatment, doctors improving, hospitals developing, government goals being met, and enterprises serving society.
Professor Wang Chengde, representing the International Rheumatism and Pain Physician Group, paid tribute to the contributions of clinical doctors and expert teams, affirming the forum's benchmark significance in academic exchange and industry cohesion.
This conference promoted exchanges in the field of rheumatism and pain, and also injected new impetus into the development of rheumatism and pain medicine. With the most cutting-edge views and open exchanges, a new blueprint for rheumatism and pain diagnosis and treatment in the new era was drawn. May colleagues from all sectors form a synergy, gather strength, and jointly advance the level of rheumatism and pain diagnosis and treatment to new heights.
